Field Sales Representative — Halifax, Nova Scotia
At Archadeck and Case Design/Remodeling Halifax, we’ve built a 20-year legacy of excellence in residential construction, specializing in creating beautiful, custom projects. Our newest brand that we started in 2024 is called Lightscapes, it offers custom outdoor lighting solutions to our clients. We won our 10th Consumer Choice Award in 2024 and have received multiple industry awards including Renovator of the Year by the Nova Scotia Home Builders’ Association.
We are seeking a Field Sales Representative who represents our company by
engaging directly with residents to promote our products and services. The goal is to engage with potential customers as a way to generate leads for Archadeck of Nova Scotia, Case Design/Remodeling, and Lightscapes Outdoor Lighting.
Job Scope:
- Knock on doors in assigned neighborhoods to introduce our products andservices from all three brands.
- Clearly and accurately communicate key information about offerings, including benefits, processes, and support details.
- Provide supportive materials such as brochures and business cards.
- Answer questions and address concerns to build trust and rapport with
potential customers. - Meet or exceed daily, weekly, or monthly quotas or targets.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and update relevant databases as needed.
- Adhere to company policies and ensure professionalism during all interactions.
- Handle rejection gracefully while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Provide feedback to supervisors on outreach experiences including challenges and successes.
Qualifications:
- A reliable vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work
independently - Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Previous sales, customer service, or canvassing experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability and willingness to walk for extended periods and work in various weather conditions
