This home addition included the demolition and haul of all exterior trim and siding, and insulation. The front porch hexagon window was demolished along with the deck rail and deck trim. Further, the second floor bathroom window has demolished including the front exterior wall for new windows on the second floor. Removal and disposal of three courses of existing siding, remediation of asbestos siding, repair of rotten framing, and re-framing of house wall to allow for the addition project and exterior home remodel project.
The bump out addition helped to enlarge the interior of the home and alter the exterior of the home which was fully renovated to integrate the new exterior design scheme seamlessly. The gable roof added additional space to the interior of the homeowners bathroom and closet. The renovation included a new home HRV system and spray foam insulation. The exterior renovation included landscaping, including variety of evergreens, LED outdoor lighting, and composite low maintenance material giving their home a modern curb appeal.
