The structure of this traditional Tantallon kitchen worked fine for our clients but the tired, outdated look was in desperate need of a refresh.
We were able to keep the existing layout and reuse the bones of the cabinetry, saving the clients time and money. Two tones of grey on the cabinet doors blends seamlessly with the beautiful and durable quartz countertops. The open shelves and simple dove grey subway tile backsplash modernize the space and keep it light and airy. Details like shiny new appliances, under-mount sinks and square bar-style pull knobs further update the space. The wood grain of the island butcher-block is repeated in lighter tones on the porcelain floor tiles, bringing warmth and a relaxed feeling to the space.
